She has received the Talent award for Miss IPFW, Pageantry Magazine Spirit Award, Media Award via Miss Essence, Website Award via Miss Essence, 4th Runner-Up to Miss IPFW 2010, 1st Runner-Up to Miss IPFW 2011, and 1st Runner-Up to Miss Allen County 2010. Her previous titles include Miss Relay for Life 2008, Miss Indiana Essence 2009, and Miss
Essence People’s Choice 2009.
Kirsten is now twenty years old and a Junior at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Her degree will come from Indiana University as a Bachelor of Educational Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood. After she attains her Bachelor’s Degree she plans on continuing her studies to graduate with a Master’s Degree and eventually
a Ph.D.
