“I believe that Miss United States winners and runner-ups symbolize strong, smart, and beautiful women. During these tough economic times, Miss United States must be able to serve the communities in which she lives, network and organize with people to make an impact, and promote a healthy lifestyle while maintaining a positive attitude. She should also be resilient, congenial, and adaptable.
Young women today are fortunate to see other women succeed in a wide variety of fields. My mentors have inspired me to ethically work hard. Their inspiration has allowed me to pursue unique life experiences that have prepared me to be Miss United States. My passion for experiencing new things, connecting with others, and for competing in pageants has been essential for me to grow as a resilient woman.
